Hello, I have recently found that several generations of my direct ancestors lived at Winwick and the surrounding Northamptonshire area;spanning the eleventh through seventeenth centuries,before migrating to America. Some of these families are:Andrewes,Newport ,Knightley,Norton,Cave,Courtney,DeIsham and more. I and my wife Jan are planning a visit to your beautiful area next year. We are both retired and interested in investigating my family roots further; as well as enjoying the countryside.
