Northamptonshire is often referred to as England’s best-kept secret – and with a population of just 70 people, our rural community is so small, we are frequently omitted from maps.

But what we lack in size, we more than make up for with beautiful countryside and remarkable community spirit.

* April 2012 - Wind Farm Appeal to be held in Daventry - starting on Thursday 12th April 2012 the Government's Planning Inspector will be hearing the appeal by E.ON Climate & Renewables in relation to the non-determination by Daventry District Council of their planning application for seven turbines at Winwick Warren Farm. The appeal continues through to Thursday 26th April and members of the public are welcome to attend some or all of the proceedings. The timetable is subject to change and can be downloaded here.
